My story

Real estate has been my life’s work.

More than 10 years as a licensed real-estate professional, more than 30 years as an investor and property owner. Calling Loudoun home since 2001.

Real Estate Came First

My interest in real estate began at 21, when I was newly married and had purchased my first home. Around that time, a television advertisement about creative real estate investing sparked my curiosity and opened my eyes to the idea of building wealth through real estate.

I began learning everything I could about investing and creative ways to purchase property. Within a few years, I bought my first investment property while also building a network of contractors, lenders, real estate professionals and other trusted contacts along the way. That network—and the knowledge I gained from owning, renovating and managing properties myself—became the foundation for much of what I do today.

Built Like a Business Owner

Before founding Loudoun Ridge Realty, I spent 17 years building and running a successful local service business here in Northern Virginia. That experience taught me lessons I still carry into real estate today: take care of people, listen carefully, solve problems, be honest about what is needed, and always follow through.

I learned that when you put the client first and do good work, people remember you, trust you and call you again. That same philosophy is at the heart of Loudoun Ridge Realty.

Why I Became a REALTOR®

After years of buying, owning, improving, and managing property myself, I believed I could give clients something I had not always experienced as a consumer: representation that looked at the whole picture. I love real estate, I believe homeownership can be an important part of the American dream, and I especially enjoy helping people see how a home can become part of a family’s longer-term financial foundation.

Why I Became a Broker

I continued to the broker level because I wanted a deeper understanding of the business and greater control over how clients were served from start to finish. Ultimately, I wanted the freedom to build a brokerage around the experience I believed clients deserved.

Why I Left a Large Brokerage

Loudoun Ridge Realty was not created to become bigger for the sake of being bigger. It was created to become more personal. I wanted the freedom to be myself, respond to what a client reasonably needs, shape the company around service, and make decisions without production pressure or a corporate model becoming the focus.

My belief is simple: great service creates production. Production should never become more important than the people behind it. Clients are not numbers, and the best real estate relationships should not end at settlement.

Why I Added Property Management

My perspective on property management was not developed from sales alone. I have owned and renovated properties, hired contractors, managed my own rental portfolio, represented buyers and sellers, and earned broker-level licensure.

After decades of managing my own investment properties, I expanded that owner-side experience into professional third-party property management in 2026. I understand firsthand the balance between protecting the property, taking care of tenants, managing expenses and maintaining the long-term value of the investment.

My goal is to take the day-to-day burden off owners so they can keep and grow good investments rather than giving them up simply because managing them became too much.

Why I Created Loudoun Ridge Realty

Because Loudoun is home. The mountain silhouette, the neighborhoods, the countryside, the people, and decades of personal and business roots make this my turf. I know the streets, the communities, the shortcuts, the local businesses, and the rhythm of the area because I have lived and worked here for decades.

My goal is for Loudoun Ridge Realty to become a trusted local name — a boutique brokerage that helps people find their version of the American dream and, when possible, build wealth along the way.

What boutique means here

You should know the person advising you.

I want every client to feel like they found their person—a trusted real estate advisor for life. There are many agents who can help complete a transaction.

My goal is for clients to look back and say they met someone who stood beside them throughout the process, kept them informed and on track, protected their interests, and helped them make decisions that left them in the strongest position possible.

You should know the person advising you. You should feel heard. You should understand what is happening and why.
